American Eagle Home Inspections was licensed in 2003 and we have been providing quality, professional home inspections ever since.  American Eagle's offices are located at 632 Tuscan View Drive, Elgin, IL.

Qualifications

    • Technical Background

      • Educated at the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign

      • Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a major in machine design and a minor in mathematics.

      • 35 years experience in the printing and machinery building industries, including over 20 years experience in performance and safety testing of equipment.

      • Engineering experience in design and modification of equipment.

      • Experience as a Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager.

    • Technical Expertise

      • Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois (1975-2005)

      • Pre-licensing Home Inspector training - Harper College - May 2003

      • Pool and Spa Inspection training - May 2004

      • All reports and other documents are computer-generated using 3D Inspection software, which can include photographs, detailed drawings and/or attention-catching colored icons to make the report as thorough as possible.

      • All reports and summary letters are in PDF format, which can easily be emailed to our clients.

      • While the reports and other documents are, by contract, to be used only by the inspector and the client, copies of these documents can be made available to the buyer's Realtor and attorney via email, fax or standard mail.
